Launching of MEI on Dec 2010
The MEI Committee organized a meeting at the Golkonda Hotel on Dec 8th 2010 to formally launch the establishment of the MEI. It was initially conceived as a Madrasa or Minority institution serving the Madrasa students. In 2011 the scope was enlarged to serve the Mass of the Poor students and notland was formally registered as Mass Education Initiative.
Mr. Javeed Mirza, President of MEI said that “This initiative will help the Minority students adapt to our modern world, obtain employment and be contributors in the nation’s growth”.
The MEI Organizing committee elected the following as Office bearers of the organization: President, Javeed Mirza; Vice President, Dr. Samiullah Khan; General Secretary, Omer Abedeen; Joint Secretary, Mr. Salman and Treasurer, Md. Mushtaq.
